Another business trip

My job pulls me on the road for a couple of days each week. I am a bit of a road warrior admittedly. But without queation, Jenn's the real warrior in this story! She loves what she does but its no easy feat to hold down this fort! I know its exhausting and I love her for her many sacrifices!

Last week my travels took me to exciting places like Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska! Both popular tourist destinations. Here's a few picks from that trip.

And the Nebraska Corn-Husker stadium. Awesome site! Gonna have to make it to one of those games!

Got the boys up on the mountain last week. It was so foggy at the top of Strawberry that we could barely see a few feet. Keat is pretty independent so he had me worried a few times. Jonas has been really improving. He can just about handle most of the blues now.

Night time

Night time routine. It's like the sprint to the finish after an Iron Man. We are super beat by the time we get these little guys down. And they seem like they have unlimited energy.

Chores

Our boys will do a lot for stars and money...sometimes.

Keat's Valentine

My first grader came home w quite the Valentines today--& we are still 3 days away from Vday. Several girls in his class gave him little notes--one with her phone number! Freaking out a bit, he's too young right?! Aaah! He is a cutie. We talked to the boys about that at dinner tonight, to make sure we are always kind to others. I added they couldn't kiss another girl (bedsides me) until they are 21 (;

This story gets even better. Keat was telling us that the girls were surrounding him in the corner and one girl wanted to kiss him. That was until one of the girls spotted the teacher coming. Keats stories are pretty entertaining. I like that he tells them to us.

T's hugs

Thad has the most amazing gift of wanting to comfort those who are sad. To add to the sweetness, he now loves to give long hugs. Jas & I just savor them (:
