St George
Favorite pic
Such a fun trip to celebrate Nana's birthday! The boys took the kids to Snow Canyonwhile we were in Vegas. We went swimming, hiking, played Pit (Keat &Jonas's favorite), ate yummy food, went to church& celebrated my mom. It was mass chaos with all the little cousins , but there was lots of bonding with laughter. Thankful for family vacations & the memories made.
Grandpa Tingey
We went over to see grandpa Tingey last Friday before heading down to St George. Lots of family were flying in because he told Sara that he wouldn't be around for much longer.
I think he was much better than Sara thought. I asked him how he was doing. He said he was in pain but "they all think I'm dying!"
I asked if he was afraid to die and he said, "I'm not afraid to die, I just don't want to be here when it happens!"
St George Memory
The World Mark lady shows up at the door hoping to get us to a breakfast pitch the next morning. She's got a pan of hot cookies to close the deal. Then she asks, "and remember you get an extra 2000 points for coming to the owner presentation." Thad chimes in like he normally does with a sly face and words way beyond his years, "It's gonna take more than 2000."
Fam trip to St George
These two crack me up. In fact these 3 are a wild inseparable combo when we get together
They are a funny little trio

Christmas 2016
Another amazing, spiritual, beautiful & exhausting holiday in the books!
Another memorable moment was being able to see our old, sweet neighbor Brother Lee Foster who moved into Treeo shortly before his wife passed away. He's an amazing man who has a light in his eyes.
We had a personal visit from Santa!
Golden Star came again this year to visit. One of our favorite mornings was to see his mad Etch a Sketch skills!
Christmas Eve--the ONLY time the entire season at the mall--to see the train for Jude who's obsessed & say hi to Tayah while she worked. We made one of our favorite treks down to Provo to see Grandpa Tingey, eat & sing with family. It was raining on the way their & while driving back, it has just started to turn to snow. Keat really wanted a white Christmas & he certainly got one Christmas morning!
The boys played in the snow for hours with their cousins. Poor Grandpa was sick & was in exile upstairs.
We then made the trek down to Jas & Kristina's. It was slick & we were going slower around 50/55. Jas was in the carpool lane, but the snow was getting packed so he tried to cross over to the next lane & another car was doing the same. We started fish tailing & jas had to correct like 5 times. We almost hit the railing multiple times. I said a prayer vocally while it was happening. It was one of the scariest moments. Jas was calm and able to correct the van. I know we were blessed & Heavenly Father answered our prayers. It shook me to the core. It certainly changes your perspective & reminds you how fragile life can be.
After a delicious meal thanks to Kristina, Nana read a story to us.
We drove home tired & grateful for not only all our blessings, but to also be alive.
Dec. 26 was a much needed down time after a 13 hour Christmas away from home. The boys had a blast playing with their awesome remote control cars that Santa brought!
Grandpa Scott joined in the wrestle mania!
