Dada Has Competition

Sooo my 3 year old loves me. He is the sweetest! He probably tells me he loves me 5X a day with equal or more kisses & hug! Last night he was suppose to be asleep (famous last words!) I was cleaning up the kitchen & he came down. He then proceeded to tell me, "when I marry you.." Over & over! It was the sweetest! 😍

Homeschool?

So, along w wondering if we're staying/moving, we are considering homeschool. It sounds crazy considering we just got back from PT conferences & both Keat & Jonas are doing exceptionally well. They're nearly 4's across the board on report cards. And according to Keat's teachers he is the top reader between the 2 classes! They're well liked at school & have had mostly positive experiences.
That said, somehow it came up. For one, we have felt very pigeon holed into where we could live based in bilingual boundaries. Also, it seems my few short hours in the afternoon consist of harping on boys to do homework, piano, work jobs. Then, I'm shutteling  them to scouts, soccer, piano & bball. We also are seeing our eyes open to a whole new world of possibility! Our kids could learn practical things, improve their talents/hobbies, be more spiritually minded, spend more time w us & travel.
In the grand scheme of things, home school seems to bring so much more. That said, the nitty gritty details of everyday life (& more work as parents) weighs on our mind as well. We're researching, praying & we are planning a trial run this summer before we make a decision. I also went to a home school cinference that was inspiring/frightening all rolled up in one. We pray we'll make the best decision for our family...even if that requires more work & getting past fears.

I know I Know

T is a bright little guy who picks up so much of what we say & do. Case in point--he'll pat an upset Jude & say, " I know, I know." I didn't even realize I say this until after the fact! Other words he's picked up: meanie (grr Jonas), punk(Jason), frustrated (Jenn), beautiful(Jas & Jenn). Love that bright little guy!

Settling down?..

We have looked at a crazy amount of homes over the past year. We keep thinking it is time to get into a house the will fit the big family we are going to pack into it. Also all these other things we are chasing-- Spanish immersion, gathering space, lots of kids in the neighborhood, lots of wide open space for the kids to run in a safe area, and on and on. It is exhausting looking for houses and it throws you into a state of transition.  Which isn't great for building relationships in the area.
Above is one of the dream homes that has us spinning, yet lately our hearts are changing a bit.  We keep getting the feeling that we need to stay here for longer. So as much as we want to jump into our dream house and neighborhood we feel like the timing just may not be good. We may just need to sit tight and let The Lord be our guide.  The answer isn't necessarily no but we think the answer is, "not right now"

Legos

Sun are a bit different. We're so happy that Jas can come w us to Sacrament. It is a bit of a long day for all of us...I'm home w 4 boys from noon until 4:30/5 & Jas has like 8 hrs of church. We're blessed for it for sure.
This week jonas & I took an hr plus to put together a lego car. Partway through we had to stretch our necks & backs. This project was not for the faint of heart! So proud we finished! Good bonding time!
