Poo

Yep, this is just a great pic & funny memory. T sometimes takes a bath while I'm showering. I got out & he said,"uh oh. Yucky." Yep, he pooped in the bath. I talked Jas into retrieving the poo & I double scrubbed the tub & toys. Fun times

Thad's first time skiing

With expectations set very low we set out last Saturday to Snowbasin to ski with the whole family. Surprisingly awesome trip. Thad loved skiing!  He was obsessed however with wiping the snow off of his skiis while he was skiing.
Really great memory at the Basin this week.

Eggs

There's a story behind these awesome yin-yang eggs. The story is about pregnancy, hormones and compromise.

Swiper and Whitie of the fab 5

The fab five....

Last week Swiper died. And just today Whitie died. Who would have thought fish could be so hard to keep alive?  Our poor boys (mostly Keaton) gets crushed every time his fish friends die.
So, I took another trip to the fish store today and stocked up again on knowledge and products to see if I could keep our last survivors of the original five alive -- Brownie 1 and Brownie 2.  To save the day and try to soften the blow of Whities' passing I brought home 5 new little fish.
The guy at the pet store took his time to show me which fish could co-exist well with our gold fish. The moment my boys had been waiting for came where we could set them free in the tank and bring peace again to the tank and our home. That moment was less than perfect however. The second those little fish hit the water our lazy gold fish went on the hunt like crazy piranas!  Now Keat is unable to sleep because those poor little fish have to hide in the trees if they hope to survive the night.

Stomach flu

In the last 2 months, we've been hit w the stomach flu 2 x. Yikes. I started out w it & originally thought it was just being newly pregnant. It was awful, thankfully Dulce & Jas were here to help w the boys. The next week, both Keat & Jonas got it in the middle of the night. Jas was out of town-- it was BRUTAL.
We'll, this last week, T got it. He threw up in our bathroom & I caught it in the hands--a true mom move! He acted completely normal so then I quested if it was something he ate.
That night, he was calling for me. I went to his bedroom which reeked of throw up. In his sick shaky voice, he started singing,"clean up clean up." It broke my heart. My sick sweetheart.
The following day, I went to pick up J at school. He was in someone else's clothes. Funny story:turns out his kinder class was walking back from the library & the little girl behind him threw up all on his back side. The office had him change into clean spare clothes, but forgot to have him wash his hands ):needless to say, that night he was throwing up. Jas was in Chicago. Sigh.
This pic is the on the day J missed school. I caught him reading to his baby bro!
Positive spin--it's only a 24 hr bug & it makes us appreciate our health that much more!
