January snow!

We've had some crazy snowstorms these last few weeks! Jas & the boys are in the middle of building an igloo(: they have put in a lot of time & hard work.
Jas has been out of town for this last storm. When I got back from T's well-child visit, my sidewalks & driveway had been shoveled! Love our friends & neighbors, the Casebolts.
T has a love/hate relationship w the snow. He cries to go outside & once he's outside, he cries. But he also has moments of pure joy. He's always trying to catch up to his big bros. He adores them. And I adore all of them!

Surgery

What a week it has been. This is a picture of Jenn and I right before they wheeled her off to surgery. Hernia repair is highly routine but I don't like to see my girl go through pain and I really don't like answer questions about a will. The thought of life without Jenn is really painful. So I am really relieved she is home and recovering now. It will be an uncomfortable and difficult recovery but we are trying to make it as smooth as possible. With our active boys and sometimes hectic life having Jenn down is hard. Little Thad loves his moma and is a bit clingy these days. We're working through that. It is just a blessing to have Jenn home and recovering.

Jan 15

While Jas is gone, here are a few pics. J was tired after a very busy day yesterday (preschool, tumbling, piano, gmas) so a nap was needed.
K is our tender hearted. He got a huge ice cream cone from every student in his class for his bday. We took a pic of it, but sent it packing...too big to store forever. he discovered this today. His tears began flowing. Anytime this happens T comes toddling over to give hugs. I love! Brought me to tears the first time. Especially sweet today bc T is sick.

Happy Birthday!

We so so so so love you Jenn!  You are what holds it all together for us.  You make this place pretty and fun!  Today we had a ton of fun celebrating you!  I love the boys cards to you.  I'll have to take a pic and include them in this post.  Hope you had fun at the spa and enjoyed the surprise waiting for you there.  It was great to get the whole crew together to have a surprise dinner for you.

Christmas Vacation

We cruised up to stay in Midway over the break. Here's a few pics of us sledding and a video of me and the boys running to the pool in the frigid weather. It has been super cold lately. It was a low of 4 degrees at Midway. Brrrr!

T's First Time at a a movie Theater

We took the whole gang to see Guardians yesterday (Gpa Scott, Gma Rita & Mariah) there was only our group & 3 others.
They had "technical difficulties." & had to restart the movie & it tacked on an extra 30 min. Good news--they gave us free tickets--score on free future dates!!

T hung in the first part thanks to popcorn. & treats.after, there was a series if loosing 2 binkies, a nasty poppy diaper, changing diaper, some whining, T trying to eat popcorn off floor & climbing up & down the stairs. We made it! Think we'll try again, but wait for a while (:

Pink eye

A new batch of sickness just hit the Wright house. Thad's got pink eye. As you can see from the pick, he looks pretty jacked! So far the rest of us are holding strong.
I'm home with Thad today while Jenn is with the boys at Kirk's funeral. Yesterday Jenn's uncle Kirk passed away leaving behind a young family.
