The pandemic rages on

It’s April 2. Most of America has been sheltering in place for a couple of weeks now attempting to flatten the curve. This is a strategy aimed at spreading out the epidemic to prevent our hospitals from being overwhelmed- a reality that is already happening in New York. In Italy the flood of infected patients far exceeds the available ventilators causing the doctor to make terribly difficult choices and the death rate to soar.
