Remembering KITTY ? - 8/4/07

Keater's first words were Dadda, Mamma, and Kitty. That should explain how close Kitty was to us. Although Keat would do his best to torment the poor cat, Kitty took his beating with understanding. Sometimes he would give Keat a nice slap or friendly bite on the leg to remind him to be a bit nicer. Considering how many times he got his tail pulled, Kitty was surprizingly forgiving.

Big fan of cheese--he could smell cheese from across the house. He was often found sleeping in the hot garage and the closets. When night time came around he would jump out the window we kept open for him and he was off hunting. He was all about a nice roll in the dirt, which kept him banned from the house on many occasions. Another act that got him a trip to the back porch was his 5am attempt to wake up the family.

Whenever we went on walks, Kitty would follow us. In fact, one time on one of our walks we ventured onto the turf of some other neighborhood cats and kitty got jumped. He was a fighter. We think it was something Kitty really liked to do -- he had some good scars and a missing patch of wiskers to prove it.

Kitty is now lounging around in Heaven. We'll miss him.
