Fabulous Thad

Thad is super funny. Last night I was hanging out with Keat on his bed and Thad came bounding in to show off his exceptional Kun fu skills. Of course he was sporting proudly just his tight new underwear. He got some laughs from us. 

Then the other day Thad was soaking in the tub when Keat started to pound out his Christmas bells song on the piano. I whispered down the stairs, "hey Keat the baby's asleep."  Right away Thad started to sing in the same tune, "baby's asleep, baby's asleep, baby's asleep, baby's asleep". You may have had to be there. Trust me, it was really funny. He is really quick and full of whit. 

Here's another classic Thad moment from last week. The boys have all been a bit sick and Jonas had his bout last week. Just before dinner Jonas was pestering Thad like he does and Thad got annoyed like he does. I asked Thad to say the prayer, so he jumped right into this really great prayer and then he slipped in a "I'm thankful that I am good and Jonas is sick"!  Jonas busted up laughing and so did the rest of us. Seriously, this 3 year old is pure entertainment. He is like having your own comedian!

Keat's First Official Babysitting

Sunday Jan 25 Wasatch big day! Jonas got to go Great to be Eight! I can't believe he'll be baptized this year! We wanted it to be special w just mom & dad.

We enlisted in Keat's help to babysit. We were gone from 6:25-7:20. We had him text us a few times. Proud of my little big boy!

Potty Training Thaddeus

Thad who does NOT like nick names,"I am not dude. My name is Thaddeus" was a stubborn one when it comes to potty training. We had tried on and off for months. Thad would go in the potty a few times, then down right refuse to. 

Thankfully that changed last week (Jan 14). After one really tough day full of tears (potty training was emotionally hard on the whole fam) it all clicked! Thad has not had one accident. He only occasionally wakes up wet in the morning. Yesterday, Jan 20, marked the first day in undies. Success!

4 months

Jude is 4 months & has accomplished so much! He clasps his hands together at midpoint. He can even do a little cross eyes(; He has a grip of steel.

On Tues, Jan 20(4 months 9 days) he had a stellar day. He can now roll from tummy to back AND from back to tummy! Now to get him to sleep better ☺️

13 Years

Can't believe it's been 13 years! We've had a wild ride so far. Here's to eternity Jas! 

Had a sweet time at The Roof Restaurant. Jas surprised with the most beautiful locket w my favorite pictures we just had taken in the fall. I treasure it!

He also asked the pianist to play our song Pachel bell Cannon in D. I immediately started crying, I have such a catch! Love this man

Grandma Rita says she is coming into the Winter of her life.  She is in her favorite season.  

Parents both from Great Falls. Her dad is from Germany, he's half German. Her mom's family is from England. 

Rita has 5 siblings, 3  brothers and 2 sisters.

Rita has a younger sister who is active in the church.

Rita has a best friend as a child who would take her to primary. She had a primary teacher, Sister Cornelius, who was a return missionary who take an interest in her. 

After getting married and having Dara, she came into the church. They were displeased about the Christian church & were praying about what church to go to. They called  at the gas station & called the Bishop answered. Church was about to start in 10 min. They were close  by and made it to church. Rita felt like she was coming home. 

Rita's parents were active for 5 years and were in the nursery.
